I've been gone from here for ages- long story - boring story - my latest blog post reveals a bit- with some new Altered book art for starters...

I'm back in the gardening mode too...I need to take summer pictures...things have grown much taller . Will do so soon.
This sculpture incorporates the altoid tin doll I had made earlier, using the images from Ten Two Studios.

Fred is now ten years old, and quite tame---our grandkids will be thrilled to see him again when they visit in 3 weeks...(it's still winter in Montana!)
At least I have one room in this house that is fresh and clean, and de-cluttered (sort of, lol)...(with NO cracks in the plaster ceiling!!!)of course now I can't stand looking at any of the other rooms.....someday I'll be done.
Today was 70 degrees!!!! and here I was inside painting, when I should have been in the garden....but I'm too sore to pull weeds anyway....

Now back to plaster patching....second coat...
Isn't it pretty? and wet? and heavy? and cold? and isn't there a reason we moved away from North Dakota and Idaho and Wyoming, and all those cold, wintery, snowy places???? This is SW Oregon....the land of a thousand micro-climates....sighhhh - yes- it IS pretty......

Today I pruned my weeping crabapple tree, roses, and cut down assorted garden leftovers from the Fall; still lots of late winter clean-up to do, but Spring is around the corner - I think...our silver-tipped maple trees are starting their 'fuzzing' out....

It was a good day to be raining all day - still raining...that fine Oregon coastal mist type of rain..... the kind of rain where everything gets wet, but you don't really feel it raining...I looooove it. It's WARMER!!
And...we are finally getting some rain!!...ever since the big snow of Jan 15, we've had nada precipitation.
